Fat Disorders Diet

One of the slides at the Fat Disorders conference in 2010 gave a short list of the do's and don'ts of things to eat and what to avoid. That list is:
  • Meat: chicken and fish, no beef/ other meats
  • No dairy - try cocnut yogurt/ice cream
  • No hydrogenated oils
  • No processed foods
  • Low glycemic foods
  • Careful with soy
  • Increase omega-3 fatty acids
  • No aspartame
  • No MSG
  • No alcohol
Kind of your back to basics, eating clean diet.

I definitely don't follow all of it but I have tried to be much more conscious about the ingredients in what I eat. Hope it gives you some guidelines in what is good and bad.
