Our Mission Statement

The purpose of the CureDercum's organization is to support the Dercum's Disease (DD) community by providing the following:
  1. A source for reliable information about  the symptoms and treatments of DD.
  2. Information about research being done regarding DD.
  3. Education both through site content and contact with the public including members of the medical professions and the media.
  4. Advocacy through contacts with national organizations, medical professionals, research communities, the media and others.
